Abstract

News plays an important role in cultural exchanges and cultural propaganda. News translation is a way via re-spread to explain News by another language. There are some difficulties in translating journalistic English into Chinese. In translating culture-loaded expressions in journalistic English, the translator needs to use rational analytical methods to extract cultural characteristics contrary to the culture of its mother tongue. This requires news translators have a profound knowledge of language and culture from the perspective of international communication.
