- Abstract
Digitalization is currently one of the main challenges for the development of the modern state. Technological progress in the Russian Federation is impossible without introducing the digital technologies in the economy and social spheres of life. Based on the analysis of the current civil legislation of the Russian Federation and on the theoretical provisions related to the legal regulation of digital relations, the article analyzes the new Russian laws in the digital field. The article includes the research work of the statutory provisions as applied to the nature and content of digital rights, the civil law regime of digital rights. This work outlines the problems of digital rights regulation and the development prospects of laws in this area of relations. The conclusion defines the functions of a digital token (digital right) in the information system. The article presents the authors’ own views and includes an analysis of the theoretical studies of scientists in this field.
