Abstract

In this article, we investigate the inverse of the sevendiagonal matrix. Under certain conditions, the efficient algorithm which is suitable for implementation using computer algebra systems, is proposed. Also, the inverse of an anti-sevendiagonal matrix is obtained based on the special relation between the sevendiagonal matrix and the anti-sevendiagonal matrix. A numerical example is provided to further illustrate the validity of the corresponding algorithm.
