Abstract

In this paper, the principle of entropy method is studied, and the entropy method is adjusted. Based on the adjusted entropy weighting method, this paper explores the fragility of the banking system of China from the end of first quarter of 2011 to the end of the third quarter of 2016. The article found that in the end of the third quarter of 2016, the banking system had the highest degree of vulnerability during the study period, and in the end of the fourth quarter of 2012 the banking system had the lowest ones. The study also found that the NPL ratio had the greatest impact on the vulnerability of the banking system.
