- Abstract
As a part of campus’ culture, university history plays a very important role in campus culture construction. The history of university reflects the development of campus, shows the changes of campus from construction to the development. The history of university also can embody the idea, the cultural atmosphere, the spiritual outlook and the core value of university. At the same time, as the carrier of campus culture, the history of university spread the campus in different forms. Through collecting, arranging and utilizing the university history resources, the function of university history for inheriting university history can be realized. The purpose of this paper is elaborating on the connotation of university history culture, the relationship between university history culture and campus culture, and the problems encountered in the process of promoting the construction of campus culture. Taking beihang university as an example, this paper explores the new ways of promoting the campus culture by deeply exploring the cultural resources of university history, integrating the university history culture into the campus culture, and promoting the ideological and political education and humanistic education in universities.
