Abstract

Based on the single-factor experiments of galangin extraction from the galangal, the experimental variables, the ethanol concentration(X1),extraction temperature(X2),extraction time(X3),and ratio of thanol to raw materia(X4) were estimated and optimized by the response surface methodology (RSM) .The statistical analysis indicated that the independent variables X2 and X4 had high significant effects on the response values,so are the interaction effects between the variables of X1X2,X1X4,X2X3,X2X4;the optimum extraction conditions for galangin were ethanol concentration 90%, extraction temperature 80, extraction time 3h,and the ratio of ethanol to materia 25ml-g-1.
