Abstract

Results of a research of theoretical approaches to determination of transparency of rural territories, regulatory legislation and assessment methodology of transparency are presented in the article. Also the author’s definition of transparency is included. A study of transparency of rural territories according to materials of particular municipal area is taken. Necessity of the systematic approach to increasing of transparency of state and local governance is justified in the article.
