Abstract

This paper introduces the existing problems and their causes of English teaching in vocational colleges and universities, and creatively puts forward the idea of combining ETIC with traditional teaching to solve the problem of cultivating talents' English communication ability. Then, the paper discusses the inspiration of ETIC to English teaching and the principles of designing specific tasks in English teaching. Last it discusses how teachers should position their roles in this model.
