The research has been conducted with the help of econometrics and on the basis of data provided by credible organizations, such as the World Health Organization, the World Economic Forum and Bloomberg. The authors have constructed several regression models and have verified them for adequacy. The constructed models show that the efficiency of health care system has a significant impact on public health, and, in its turn, public health to a great extent shapes the economy’s competitiveness.
