Abstract

The article is devoted to elaboration of a methodology for quantifying the level of human development focused on ensuring effective reindustrialization of the region’s economy. Analysis of existing approaches to assessing the level of human development allowed to elaborate a methodology for measuring the level of human development of region’s population. The article proposes the author’s approach to structuring and quantitative evaluation of indicators characterizing the level of human development. The proposed method focuses on the potential of children and young people as a strategic resource necessary for reindustrialization of the Russian economy. In conclusion, authors of this article substantiate the practical importance of the elaborated methodology.
