- Abstract
Regional languages in Indonesia have been the object of many publications so far, there is a dearth of dialectological research on the topic. This research discusses the gap by identifying the distribution and relation of regional language vocabulary in Poso, Tojo Una-Una, and North Morowali as well as the elements of relics. The data for each observation area consists of 200 Swadesh vocabularies and 200 basic vocabularies of culture. This study focuses more specifically on the distribution of 3.600 vocabularies. Research provides evidence that each gloss represents various realizations and relic elements that are a reflection of Proto Austronesian (PAN). The researcher believes that this vocabulary distribution is acceptable for the analysis of relics. In addition, the researcher discusses the implications of the claim, relating the phenomena described to similar stages presented in different parts of the world.
