Abstract

Aiming at analyzing the main factors which may influence the population density, this paper establishes a gray correlation analysis method to determine the main influencing factors for population density of Wuhan City according to the data in the statistical yearbook of Wuhan City. The result shows that GDP, employment quantity and completed area of housing construction are the three main factors which affect the population density of Wuhan City.
