- Abstract
This study aims to assess the commitment of employees at Japanese DKI Restaurants by examining the impact of Work-Life Balance and Career Development, with Employee Engagement acting as a mediating factor. The research utilized a descriptive and explanatory approach, involving a population of 120 respondents, from which a random sample of 104 participants was selected. Data was gathered through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software, Lisrel, and Path analysis. Based on the result of this research we can state that work life balance and career development affected employee engagement. Meanwhile employee engagement and career development have significanly impact on organizational commitment, but worl life balanca has no significant effect on organizational commitment. Concurrently As an intermediary variable, employee engagement makes work life balance and career development have a positive effect on employee commitment to the organization.
