- Abstract
Taking into account a play pedagogical approach as a way to optimize the student’s learning outcomes in physical education lesson, this research primarily aims to develop a game based activities roomates secondary school assists students in learning with the topic of educational athletics running events. in developing the selected game-based activities, it is important to concern on student’s growth and development. The final products of the research were in the form of game-based activities supporting secondary students in learning the athletics, specifically the running events. besides the assessment analysis by material experts and physical education teachers, the students’ questionnaires Also revealed positive results. The game developed models were assumed as appropriate and effective to use. moreover, this study acquired positive feedbacks from the student’s responses. for these reasons, the present study suggests that such game models are feasible to use.
