The Tropical Biomass Research and Development Center of University of Lampung, in collaboration with Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia) and University of Borås (Sweden), jointly organized the 1st International Conference on Sustainable Biomass (ICSB) 2019 on 15 – 17 October 2019. ICSB is a biennial conference that started in 2019. In this inaugural event, the ICSB is focused on “Bioenergy for Rural Development” as the theme of the conference. The 1st ICSB purposes primarily on providing a forum for local, national and international stakeholders for sharing and highlighting original and novel ideas, state of the art, current status and future chalenges on advances in sciences, engineering and technology that addresses on biomass to energy innovations and production.
