This volume contains the peer-reviewed proceedings of the International Conference on Resilient Innovations for Subsistence Environment (ICRISE 2025), organized by the Department of Chemistry, Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was held on 21st and 22nd November 2025 with the objective of providing an interdisciplinary platform for academicians, researchers, industrial professionals, and students to deliberate on innovative and resilient solutions to contemporary environmental challenges.

ICRISE 2025 served as a vibrant forum for collaboration between academia, industry, and research institutions, with particular emphasis on the participation of students from rural backgrounds. Conferences of this nature play a significant role in inculcating scientific temperament among students and young researchers while fostering knowledge exchange and collaborative research. Through keynote lectures, technical sessions, and scholarly discussions, the conference promoted the sharing of scientific knowledge and encouraged meaningful academic partnerships.

The central theme of the conference, “Resilient Innovations for Subsistence Environment,” addressed critical issues related to environmental degradation, increasing carbon dioxide levels, and the adverse effects of environmental pollutants on human health, including carcinogenic risks. The deliberations focused on remedial strategies, resilient technologies, and innovative approaches for pollution mitigation, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable environmental management. In addition to core environmental topics, the conference encompassed a broad spectrum of interdisciplinary research aligned with sustainability and resilience.

I am deeply honoured and sincerely grateful to the distinguished keynote and invited speakers, including the Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Awardee and Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Dr. K. R. Prasad from the Department of Organic Chemistry IISc, Bengaluru, and other eminent speakers from premier institutions across India, including IITs, as well as internationally industrial experts. Their scholarly contributions and insightful presentations greatly enriched the technical deliberations of the conference.

As the Organizing Secretary, I express my heartfelt gratitude to our respected Principal, Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry, whose constant encouragement, visionary leadership, and unwavering support have enabled the successful organization of international conferences annually. I also extend my sincere thanks to the faculty members of the Department of Chemistry, In-charge of the Department, and the entire support team. My special appreciation is extended to all participants, delegates, and the students of our college, whose enthusiastic involvement contributed immensely to the success of ICRISE 2025.

In continuation of our commitment to the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research, we are pleased to publish the peer-reviewed papers presented at ICRISE 2025 in collaboration with Atlantis Press, a part of Springer Nature. This publication ensures global visibility and academic impact for the research contributions presented at the conference.
