- Abstract
This paper investigates the high-level educational opening-up in the Hainan Free Trade Port against the backdrop of China’s efforts to deepen reform and opening-up and the evolving global educational landscape. It examines the establishment and development of the port, the significance of educational services, research objectives and significance, current development status, case studies, challenges and reform measures, as well as the international impact. It discusses policy support and main forms of educational services. Case studies showcase cooperation with renowned institutions and comparisons with other free trade ports. Challenges in policy implementation, resource distribution, and international cooperation are identified, and corresponding improvement measures are proposed. The international impact is analyzed in terms of the Belt and Road Initiative, cultural exchange, and international cooperation. The study aims to contribute to the port’s goal of becoming a high-level international education hub.
