2016 ICOSOP International Seminar is an academic event held by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, University of Sumatera, Utara. With the theme : Government Ethics, the Seminar divided into eight (8) sub-themes. They are :

2. Local Wisdom, Culture & Law

3. Islamic Ethics Perspective

4. Public Policy & Administration

5. Character Building & Education

6. Gender & Women Movements

7. Global Competition & Ethics

8. Ethics and Law In Social Media

The International Seminar was held over two days, November 21st and 22nd 2016, at the Grand Aston Hotel, Medan. The academics and practitioners in Public Policy, Government, Law, Politics, Society, etc. from universities and government all over Indonesia were invited to join in the seminar.

There were 122 articles received by the 2016 ICOSOP seminar. All articles received by the committee were reviewed. Each article was reviewed by two-high quality reviewers who are qualified in each field. All writers were given two chances to revise their articles after having been reviewed by the reviewers. Next, after the review was done, the committee conducted the editing process for the layout and the article structure. From the 122 articles reviewed, there are 76 articles accepted to be published. All articles have already been reviewed and edited by the committee.
