ABSTRACT

Aek Bedelew is one of the artificial tours managed by the green kapitan community or called Green Boy. This tour has the potential to be developed because the water conditions are clear and clean and near Levar beach, so it attracts many local tourists to visit and enjoy the tour for diving. Aek Bedelew is freshwater tourism whose water source is from the river; its clean water conditions make it an attraction for local tourists to visit on weekends. This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis to identify the development and management of tourism in the Belinyu kapitan village. The collection technique used is non-participant observation, interviews and documentation, and literature study. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that Aek Bedelew's artificial tourism has the potential of natural resources and areas of visit as a tourism attraction. Aek Bedelew has complied with the principles of tourism development, however, for further development, partnerships between the private sector and the government are needed in improving infrastructure and other facilities such as transportation, promotion, cleanliness, and security.
