Abstract

Sinjai Regent Regulation Number 33 of 2019, regarding Guidelines for Awarding Scholarships and Educational Assistance Outstanding Students in Sinjai Regency through the Education Office. This regulation is expected to be a guideline for implementing the acceptance of this scholarship properly so that it can help high achieving and underprivileged students who want to continue his education. Therefore, this study discusses how to implement these regulations. This research was conducted at the Sinjai Regency Education Office and the Sinjai Regency Education Council. Data collection was carried out through observation, interview and documentation methods. The data obtained were then analyzed based on the indicators determined by looking at the results of observations, interviews and documentation from research informants. The informants used were the Head of the Sinjai Regency Education Office, the Head of the Sinjai Regency Education Board, the Head of the Sub Division of the Education Office Program, the Muhammadiyah Sinjai University (UMSI) students who received the Study Completion category scholarships, and the Alauddin Makassar State Islamic University (UIN) students who received the scholarship. in the Study Completion Category. The results of this study state that the implementation of the Scholarship Admission Program and Student Achievement Education Aid in Sinjai Regency has been running according to existing regulations, although there are still some that are not in accordance with these rules.
