- Abstract
This research aims to examine the effectiveness of virtual fairy tales based on the values of Wulang Reh script in elementary school learning. The research method used was an experiment with Research and Development adapted from Borg and Gall. The data collection technique used as the questionnaire distributed to fifth-grade students divide into the control and experimental classes, each consisting of 26 students. The data analysis technique used was a Likert Scale to assess the pre-test and post-test. This effectiveness test was carried out in several stages, including: the discrimination test from the pre-test of control and experimental classes, the discrimination test from the post-test of control and experimental classes, the discrimination test from the pre-test and post-test of the control class, and the discrimination test from the pre-test and post-test of the experimental class. The mean of the pre-test and post-test results in the experimental class is 11.3846. It can be concluded that the class that got a new product treatment is better than the one that did not. Therefore, the result is that the virtual fairy tale product based on Wulang Reh script is truly effective in building children’s character in the learning activities of elementary schools.
