Abstract

Islamic education should quickly adapt itself with era development. The study program in university has an important role in delivering the students' success. Islamic Education Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan University (PAI UAD) develops study program-based form of cadre curriculum called ORNAMI the Orientation of al-Islamic and Muhammadiyah Values Building) which is developed the hidden curriculum concept by building the concept of forming cadre at college and Muhammadiyah. This research is aimed to arrange the curriculum study program-based form of cadre on Islamic Education (PAI) Study Program of Ahmad Dahlan University. This research was carried out on Semester 1 in the academic year 2017/2018 and 2018/2019. The approach of this research is qualitative and descriptive data analytic technique with data collection techniques such as observation, interview and questionnaire. The research result indicates that (1) The students as the input with various backgrounds become the challenge to develop their potential. (2) The fundamental concept of ORNAMI is the form of cadre development and of Muhammadiyah and its system at the college which are adjusted and developed as the need of Islamic Education Study Program, (3) The curriculum of ORNAMI is emphasized on the understanding and implementation of al-Islamic and Muhammadiyah value and self-development material which are beneficial for the students.
