Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze and determine the impact of GRDP per capita, Number of Tourists, Population, and Number of Tourist Attractions in the local government revenue of Regencies and Cities in East Java Province in 2016–2020. The research method utilized secondary data (time series) 2016–2020 for East Java Province. The source of this research data was taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Java in 2016–2020 and analyzed using panel data regression. The final results of this research analysis prove that the GRDP per capita, the number of tourists, and the population can affect the Regional Income of Regencies and Cities in East Java Province during the 2016–2020 period. Meanwhile, there is no mutually influencing relationship between the variable number of tourist attractions and the regional income of regencies and cities in East Java Province during the 2016–2020 period. Since it was not covered in the previous essay, the author may now investigate how the tourism industry will affect the regional revenue of the cities and regencies in the east java province from 2016 to 2020.
