- Abstract
Based on the panel data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 2012 to 2021, a PVAR model is established to study the interaction relationship between government subsidies, enterprise risk-taking and innovation performance by using analytical methods such as Granger causality test, impulse response function and variance decomposition. The results of the study show that government subsidies and enterprise risk-taking have a significant inhibitory effect on innovation performance, and enterprise risk-taking has a significant promotional effect on government subsidies.
