Abstract

The HTP test is mainly used to assess the relationship between the characters and the environment, and can explore personality traits, interpersonal characteristics, self-cognition and their emotional state. This study analyzed the psychological state of han and tibetan freshmen through htp test, aiming to explore the psychological condition of freshmen, especially the psychological adaptation of tibetan freshmen after entering school, and to provide new ideas for further improving the evaluation mechanism of tibetan college students’psychological problems and better mental health education. Methods: Within 3 months of school term,421 freshmen were selected as subjects (183 Han students,238 Tibetan students,188 male students and 233 female students). performed the HTP composition chart test. It is found that there are significant differences in the picture size, position, line, disorder degree, blackening, emphasis on head and face contour and other painting features in the paintings of Han and Tibetan freshmen. Conclusion: in the early stage of admission, tibetan freshmen emphasize the sense of security, care about others’views on themselves, and have strong anxiety and psychological defense at the same time, the school should strengthen the mental health help in this period to help them adapt to college life as soon as possible.
