- Abstract
Under the concept of general education, guided by humanism education thought and culture ontology thought, it emphasizes the educational function of mathematics culture, pays attention to people’s self-cultivation, self-development, self-growth autonomy and consciousness, and exerts the cultural value of mathematics education. And according to the liberal arts mathematics general education idea and the knowledge view, the teaching view under the post-modern horizon, analyzes the university liberal arts mathematics general education teaching present situation and the future development trend, on the one hand, it is the reform and reconstruction of the connotation of education and teaching; on the other hand, is the modern information technology and the mathematics education conformity. In other words, the future development trend of liberal arts mathematics general education is mainly reflected in connotation construction and education informatization. The connotation reform mainly involves the following five aspects: first, the deepening of teachers’ and management’s understanding; second, the reform of education and teaching content; third, the perfection of teachers’ knowledge structure; fourth, the reasonable setting of teaching time; and fifthly, the emphasis on process evaluation.
