Building Learning City Through Lifelong Learning Education Supply-Side Reform: Based on Chengdu Case

- Abstract
With China’s social economy entering a new normal stage of development, through the supply-side lifelong education reform to optimize the lifelong learning environment for the whole people, the continuous promotion of the quality and ability of workers in different industries and industries is the basis for China’s economic and social transformation and upgrading. Based on the driving force of education supply-side reform and the current situation of life-long education supply-side reform in Chengdu as an example, this paper analyzes the current social education resources in Chengdu, starting from the supply and production side, and through the reform of education supply, coordination and integration of resources to enhance efficiency, forming a rich, diverse and optional. On the basis of the supply-side structure, a vertical and horizontal inclusive lifelong education system is constructed, and a nationwide development path of lifelong education with universality is proposed, which may provide human resources for the promotion of economic and social development.
