Abstract

This paper begins with an introduction to theÿtheoryÿof microeconomics of banking, followed by a presentation of the development course of researches on bank behavior and a survey of the various theoretical models, and concludes with a discussion about the extension and application of the Klein-Monti model to the current status of oligopolyÿbankingÿmarkets.
