- Abstract
With the rapid development of Internet technology, various ideas of good and bad are widely spread among college students through the use of new media, which has a huge impact on college students’ world outlook, outlook on life and values. In the era of new media, the Integration of Anti-cult Education into Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Colleges and Universities is of far-reaching significance for college students which form correct world outlook, outlook on life and values and understand country’s religious policies and the essential characteristics of cults. This article attempts to clarify the significance of integrating anti-cult education into college ideological and political theory courses and resisting the infiltration of cult organizations in the new media era by studying the current situation of College Students’ understanding of cults and the characteristics of cults’ dissemination in the new media era.
