- Abstract
The View of World is one of the vital concepts in the Confucianism. Initially completed by Duke of Zhou and then further developed by Confucius and Mencius, it has been known by people since the ancient time. Confucius put forward Benevolence. Benevolence is the central theory of Confucius’ ideological system. Based on that, Mencius brought forward Love and Respect, which is also the reflection of Benevolence in nature. Confucius put forward that The World Returns to Humanity and Mencius put forward that Benevolence Covers the World. We can see that, Benevolence and Love are the central part of the World in Confucianism. Both embody the ideal value goal for the world from Confucianism and point out the basic way of realizing the world’s great harmony. Since the 18th CPC National Congress, Xi Jinping has emphasized the inheritance and development of China’s excellent traditional culture on many occasions, and has put forward the idea of building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind in a more creative way. This idea is inheriting and developing the Confucian concept of Benevolence to the World, to provide new mode and possibility of peaceful co-existence and co-prosperity.
