Abstract

As a national intangible cultural heritage, Shoushan stone carving is the crystallization of Chinese national cultural spirit and people’s wisdom. With the process of economic development and globalization, to strengthen and expand Shoushan stone carving industry and make Shoushan stone carving get effective inheritance, it is necessary to participate in international cultural and artistic exchanges and collisions. Development and innovation is the historical necessity and internal demand. This paper aims to analyze Shoushan stone Under the background of contemporary diversified art market, the paper explores the development and innovation path of Shoushan stone carving, and tries to bring beneficial thinking for the transformation of Shoushan stone carving from folk handicrafts to international art.
