- Abstract
Translators are the core contents in translation history studies. In the translation history of China, The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) boasts a multitude of translators and glorious translation history. In order to investigate the above unique phenomena, it is necessary to analyze the related reasons. Geo-translation Studies, a new research paradigm proposed by He Aijun, aims to build a theoretical system of space-time integration. Based on this theory, it is found that three geographical factors, being away from the of the sovereignty of the power-centralized government, the advantageous geographical location, and the regional folk customs of being brave, pragmatic and hard-working, result in the unique phenomena of GBA translation history in modern China.
