Proceedings of the 2020 International Conference on Language, Art and Cultural Exchange (ICLACE 2020)

2020 International Conference on Language, Art and Cultural Exchange (ICLACE2020), organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Information Centre, was successfully held on May 22-24 via online platform. Due to the worldwide travel restriction and the prevention and control of COVID-19, ICLACE2020 adopted the format of virtual conference through network technology to bring together distinguished scholars and industrial experts in the field of Literature, Art and Cultural Exchange research from home and abroad to a common forum, aiming to disseminate the state-of-the-art research in these fields and enhance the cooperation between each other.

The committee of ICLACE2020 is please to have nearly fifty scholars around the globe to join the team. With such professional and influential team, we are honored to invite two prestigious and prominent experts to serve as our keynote speakers. Keynote speeches are the first session of this conference, while the second part is online discussion. In the first part, keynote talks and oral presentations were delivered in 30 and 20 minutes respectively, all of which were conducted via Zoom. Prof. Steven Gauntt from Xiamen University, China, performed his keynote speech entitled In a Word: Language, Limitation and Efficacy, to discuss the general foundation, value, and service of language in the expression and transmission of meaning in all fields of human endeavor. Prof. Songqing Li, representing Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China, held his keynote talk on Intertextuality as a strategy of glocalization, to discuss why the notion of intertextuality can be drawn upon to explore the application of glocalization in international marketing. Thanks to their insightful talks, participants had heated discussion on WeChat communication group in the second parts of the conference.

In order to vividly present the achievements of this conference, we are now pleased to introduce you the proceedings that we compiled from the selection of the best papers submitted to the conference. These papers feature the latest advanced studies on the following topics but are not limited to: Linguistics, Literature, Culture, Art, Aesthetics, Philosophy, History and other related topics. All the papers have been through rigorous review and process to meet the requirements of International publication standard.
