Welcome to the Tenth of the International Conference on Languages and Arts (ICLA-10 2021). The Committee is pleased to present the Proceedings of 2021 International Conference on Languages and Arts held by Faculty of Languages and Arts of Universitas Negeri Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia that is published by Atlantis Press.

Industrial Revolution 4.0. is a global acceleration era in creating a masterpiece to accelerate economic achievement in a country. This era is a challenge for all of us particularly in the field of language, literature, arts and education. In order to respond this challenge, creative industry should take and play important role to bring benefit for our country. For this purpose the 10th International Conference on Language and Arts (ICLA-10) invites researchers, teachers/lecturers, and students to come as presenters or participants. This year theme is “The Role of Language and Arts in Supporting Creative Industry Achievement in Industrial Revolution 4.0”.

The ICLA 2021 conference aims to bring together leading researchers, scholars, teachers, and students from all over the world to share innovations and new trends realized about “The Role of Language and Arts in Supporting Creative Industry Achievement in Industrial Revolution 4.0” in their experiences and their research results and learn from each other on several aspects of linguistics, literature, arts, and the teaching of languages and arts.

We would like to express our best gratitude to Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.; and Dean of FBS UNP, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, M.Hum. for their tremendous support. Furthermore, we are very grateful to have five keynote speakers coming from different countries that certainly enhance our knowledge and understanding about research and the teaching on language and arts.
