Abstract

Study programs that organize teaching must meet the competencies demanded by the market and society. The fact points to Tafsir alumni and Tafsir study program enthusiasts from year to year increasing, as well as work in government agencies only opened in one institution only, namely the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The community also needs Tafsir alumni to help empower the Islamic community by making products of Qur’anic learning models that can be previewed to eliminate Alquran illiteracy. The misalignment between the reality of unemployment Study Program of Tafsir with the purpose of organizing the study program becomes a problem of this article. As a way to solve the problem, the author uses qualitative approach methods. The object of study focuses on the model of work carried out by Tafsir alumni of various generations. The sampling technique used is snowball sampling. Data collection techniques use research articles and book books that are linear, as well as conducted interviews. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis. The purpose of this article is to form entrepreneur-based teaching that can be applied to the curriculum and ends with the output of learning i.e. a new method of innovation. The study found that a very small number of Tafsir alumni are relevant to the profile of the study program, especially the field of education. The majority to other study programs at the master’s level, or work in fields that do not require the competence of the Interpretation. This is due to the lack of knowledge of the business world of Qur’anic education comprehensively in the community during the 8-semester lecture.
