Abstract

In order to explore the impact of manufacturing digitization on industrial upgrading and realize green development. This paper first analyzes the impact of manufacturing digitization on industrial upgrading from both supply and demand aspects, and empirically tests the impact of manufacturing digitization on industrial upgrading by using the panel data of Chinese provinces and cities from 2003 to 2021. It is found that manufacturing digitization has a positive promotion effect on manufacturing upgrading, and the results are still valid after the robustness test.
