Abstract

In the development of the quality of human life, a person does not only need the intelligence and emotional sensitivity. There is another thing that is very important to do with the meaning of life which is the spiritual side. For people who understand the meaning of life will be a motivation for themselves and encourage themselves to do something useful activity. Intelligence and emotion without spiritual are very frightening. This means that when someone wants to get success, they tend to pretend to be good. And when success is obtained, then he will turn back from reality. That is why spiritual intelligence is also referred to as intelligence of conscience in which it sharpens aspects of morality. Spiritual intelligence is the internal potential of an individual that is used to deal with existential problems, namely: When someone personally feels down, trapped by habits, worries and past problems. Spiritual intelligence makes a person aware, that he has an existential problem and makes him able to overcome it or at least make peace with the problem. Spiritual intelligence is considered to be one of the solutions to overcome adolescent negative behavior which at this time is often a problem for the family environment, the community environment and for the youth themselves.
