Proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Educational Research and Innovation (ICERI 2018)
First of all allow us to extend our warmest greetings and welcome to you all to the 6th International Conference on Educational Research and Innovation (ICERI-2018), organized by Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The conference is organized for two days on August 30-31, 2018.
The ICERI-2018 raises a theme – Improving the Quality of Educational Research and Innovation towards the Industrialization Era in the 21st Century –, this conference is designed to: (1) Attract ideas, experience, and research findings from lecturers, researchers, teachers and graduate students; and (2) improve the quality of research for discovering and developing knowledge. Hnece, this conference will contribute innovative thoughts and proactive strategies to improve the society’s life systematically and sustainably as the proofs of the findings of more qualified educational research and innovation.
We proudly present two keynote speeches, five plenary presentation sessions and three parallel presentation sessions. The Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic Indonesia and the Minister of Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection of the Republic of Indonesia have delivered keynote speeches. Meanwhile, five plenary presentation sessions in the field of character education and educational research have been delivered. They are Prof. Tan Chuanbao from Beijing Normal University, China; Nancy I. Cooper, Ph.D from AMINEF; Prof. Dr. Zulqarnain Bin Mohamed from University of Malaya, Malaysia; Prof. Dr. Sutrisna Wibawa, M.Pd. from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and Jane S.C. Liu, Ph.D. from Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan.
We have done our best to prepare for this ICERI-2018 event. Therefore, our highest appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all committee members. On behalf of the committee, I would therefore like you all to accept our apologies for any inconvenience occurred. Finally, we also need to deliver our great thanks to all participants for their enthusiasm to join this conference who have enjoyed this conference until the end and hopefully it will give us much benefit.
