- Abstract
Through an empirical analysis of veterans’ willingness to participate in volunteer service in Chengdu-Chongqing area, this paper found that exogenous variables such as service years, educational level and gender of veterans, as well as endogenous variables such as return and harvest, external support, service channels and participation projects of veterans had a significant impact on their willingness to participate in volunteer service. In order to improve the willingness of veterans to participate in volunteer service, the current management department of veterans should improve the organizational system and strengthen the standardized management, improve information docking to ensure supply and demand match, e establish a normal guarantee to eliminate worries, implement various incentives to demonstrate personal value.
