Abstract

The foundation of Buddhism, based on classic texts of the Pali Canon in the Satipatthana Sutta, is one of the most interesting and profound ways of self-knowledge among the various ways. Researching someone's “self-perception” is more existentially phenomenological in nature. With this approach, a person can go beyond the usual epistemological mindset and open the deeper dimension of his own personality.
