Abstract

Regression Test Selection (RTS) techniques have been proposed to increase the effectiveness and reduce the cost of regression testing. Researchers stated numerous types of approaches for selecting regressing test cases, and those methods can be grouped into two categories, code-based and model-based. This paper presents one code-based and two model-based regression test strategies, and also evaluates and analyzes the features, advantages and drawbacks of each technique.
