Abstract

To date studies that refer to music in film tend to be too generalized to offer a firm theoretical paradigm for analysis of how music functions in cinema. In addition to this, studies on the relationship between film music course teaching in University as the recognition and cultivation of national identity are distinctly lacking. This paper takes one of the elective modules film music course teaching in Anshan Normal University as a case study, the main focus is to explore and trace the synchronized relationship between film music teaching and the cultivation of students' national identity.
