- Abstract
This study aims to analyze the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) on the performance of gender-oriented cooperatives. The study was conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interview techniques to administrators and employees of women’s cooperatives. Interviews were conducted to explore data on employee performance systems and product innovation in women’s cooperatives. The results showed that Total Quality Management (TQM) consisting of leadership, customer focus, continuous improvement, unity of purpose, involvement and empowerment of employees, in gender-oriented women’s cooperatives. Based on the results of interviews and analysis, it shows that even though it has been done, not all components of TQM can improve the performance of management and employees of woman’s cooperatives. The main factor that can improve the performance of managers and employees is the involvement and focus on the customer.
