- Abstract
This paper delves into the application of authentic assessment within the context of College English education and assesses its influence on the acquisition of learning skills. The concept of authentic assessment is introduced and its merits are examined through an empirical case study. Utilizing a practical scenario as a reference, the paper offers valuable insights into the successful incorporation of authentic assessment into the College English curriculum to enhance student growth. By highlighting the benefits of authentic assessment, the objective of this paper is to emphasize its crucial role in advancing comprehensive education.
