Website: http://www.icapme.org/ The 2023 International Conference on Applied Psychology, Modern Education (ICAPME 2023) was held via virtual form in Kunming, China, from September 22 to 24, 2023. In recent years, interest in applied psychology and modern education problems has been flourishing all over the globe because of both theoretical and practical requirements. Considering the trend, the Conference was organized in order to provide a forum for developing research cooperation and to promote activities in the fields related to applied psychology and modern education. Because solutions to the problems of applied psychology and modern education are needed in various applied fields, we entertained about 80 participants at the Conference and arranged various speeches and presentations which covered a wide range of topics related to the Conference theme. Many researchers all over the world have contributed to the emerging technology of applied psychology and modern education. One of our keynote speakers Professor Guiyun Guan (Northwest University for Nationalities, China) made a report Research on Foreign Language Smart Education under the Situation of Educational Integration and Innovation. The rapid development of Internet and information technology strongly leads to the inevitable trend of education and teaching reform. When it comes to foreign language smart education, some problems occur, including knowledge barrier, data island, low utilization rate of smart classroom, disconnection between curriculum and foreign language smart education, etc. Based on these problems, programs such as strengthening the construction of new liberal arts, sharing resources, setting individualized teaching and multi-interaction, and optimizing the model of foreign language smart education were put forward, so as to better and more effectively carry out foreign language wisdom teaching. ICAPME 2023 has been endorsed by many national and international applied psychology and modern education organizations and publishers. The topics of papers collected and undergone peer-review in the Proceedings of ICAPME 2023 are classified as follows: Psychological Science, Mental Health and Counseling, Educational Curriculum Research and Development, Learning and Teaching Methods and Assessment, etc. Last but not the least is our gratitude. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the plenary speakers, authors, and the members of the Organizing Committee for the success of the Conference, which has given rise to this present volume of selected papers.
