Website: http://icaid.net The 2023 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Internet and Digital Economy (ICAID 2023) took place in Beijing, China, on April 21 to 23, 2023 (hybrid form). The conference series started in 2022 as an academic conference and gradually expanded to include many other topic fields as well. Now the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, Internet and Digital Economy is an annual international conference based in China with topics encompassing the whole area of artificial intelligence, Internet and digital economy. With the continuous upgrading of network information technology, especially the combination of Internet–cloud computing–blockchain–Internet of Things and other information technologies with social and economic activities, and through the improvement of artificial intelligence, Internet and big data with high quality and fast processing efficiency, the economic form is transformed from industrial economy to information economy. This will greatly reduce social transaction costs, improve the efficiency of resource optimization, increase the added value of products, enterprises and industries and promote the rapid development of social productivity. Therefore, ICAID 2023 was held to expand related researches themed “technology and application of the integrated development of Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence”. About 80 attendees from 12 countries, with two invited keynote speeches, plus plenty of oral and poster contributions. We have invited two sophisticated professors to perform keynote speeches. Among them, Professor Amir H Gandomi from University of Technology Sydney, Australia, delivered a keynote speech on evolutionary intelligence in technology and economy. The central theme of this presentation is about EI techniques and their application to complex real-world problems. On this basis, he first talked about an automated learning approach called genetic programming. Second, evolutionary optimization was presented including key applications in the optimization of complex and nonlinear systems. Finally, heuristics, adaptable with EI, was explained, which can significantly improve the optimization results. It is really a great opportunity to promote academic communication and collaboration worldwide. This volume of Atlantis Press gathers papers from regular contributions of ICAID 2023; each contribution submitted for publication has been peer reviewed, and the editors are very grateful to the referees for their careful support in improving the original manuscripts. The manuscripts accepted for publication cover different topics of artificial intelligence, Internet and digital economy: artificial intelligence and evolutionary algorithms, intelligent information fusion, technology, methods and applications of the integration and development of digital economy and artificial intelligence, etc. It is a great honor to present this volume of Atlantis Press, and we deeply thank the authors for their enthusiastic and high-grade contribution.
