Abstract

Along with the artistic and aesthetic development of modern urban space field, the relationship between public art practice and urban government function is increasingly obvious, and the position and role of public art in urban characteristic culture development is increasingly become the focus of attention. Based on the urban government function in the construction of characteristic public art, this paper proposes the urban government's behavioral strategies and function positioning from the aspects of concept recreation, organization restructuring and strategic management, to deal with the internal relations between localization and internationalization, tradition and modern, personalization and the public, life and art, region and opening, so as to promote the urban characteristic culture taste improvement and the overall brand image construction.
