Abstract

Turpentine oil is one of the most important nature essential oil of the world and it is particularly rich in China. -pinene is one of the principle components of turpentine oil. Turpentine has a high application value, but more applications are prepared terpene resin by polymerization. This paper reviewed the research progress on polymerization of -pinene, including homopolymerization of -pinene and copolymerization of -pinene.
