From March 10–12, 2023, the 2023 2nd International Conference on Humanities, Wisdom Education and Service Management (HWESM 2023) was held in Shanghai, China. The Conference was attended by about 100 scientists, researchers, teachers and students working in the field of humanities, wisdom education and service management.

The general objectives of the HWESM 2023 were

To generate an adequate academic and scientific forum to present the work and experiences of researchers/teachers/students, contributing this way, to the production of new knowledge in the field of humanities, wisdom education and service management. To establish specific relationships between all the participants in the Conference, with activities and/or workshops independently.

The subject areas in which papers were presented were

Intangible Cultural Heritage and Service Management of Tourist Attractions; Auxiliary Management of Enterprise Training and Education;
The Development of Educational Modernization under Multimedia Equipment;
Medical Education and the Development of Human Health and Health Service Management;
The Development of Entertainment and Cultural Services under Aesthetic Education;
The Future Development of Education Service under Social Change, etc.

The Conference took place for three days. The invited keynote speakers were Chaoqun Shen, Professor, Sanda University, China, working in public opinion investigation and analysis, social media and society, new media trends: Teaching Effect of Interactive Response System in New Media Courses.

Soraya Garcia-Esteban, Professor, University of Alcala, Spain, with years of experience in several European higher education institutions, interested in international innovation and research projects related to virtual exchanges for competence development in EMI contexts integrating technology, pedagogy and content knowledge: Revising Digital Collaborative Educational Methods and Tools. Brian Lee, Associate Professor, Singapore University of Social Sciences, Singapore, Head of Communication Program at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, focusing on e-learning, intelligent education, social media and strategic communication: ChatGPT for Intelligent Education: The Inevitable and Invincible.
