Abstract

SNA (Social Network Analysis) has been frequently used as a tool for patent analysis. This study analyzes the popular topics and communities in the field of patent analysis with SNA with publications included in Web of Science. This study reveals that (1) the research in the field of patent analysis has kept increasing in the last fifteen years; (2) researchers in this field are mainly from South Korea, America, Taiwan province of China, and some European countries. This research also identifies researcher communities and institution communities in the field of patent analysis with SNA.
